Join Katie Schwartz and Jeremy Richardson as they discuss the role contracts and agreements play in laying the foundation for small business success. They will discuss supplier, retailer and third-party logistics contracts as well as address the background and purpose of non-disclosure confidentiality agreements and product licensing agreements.

About the Presenters: 

Katie Schwartz - Katie Schwartz, Associate, Smith Gambrell & Russell – Katie is a commercial litigator who works in the labor employment, real estate and consumer products practice groups. She is affiliated with the Women in Toys community. She received a B.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and a J.D. from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. 

Jeremy Richardson - Jeremy Richardson, Partner, Smith Gambrell & Russell – Jeremy works with consumer product manufacturers and, in particular, the juvenile products and toy industries. He serves as SGR’s Leader of the Consumer Products Industry Team, and his professional affiliations include Women in Toys, Licensing and Entertainment, Toy Association; the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association; the International Consumer Products Health and Safety Organization; and ASTM International. He has been a guest lecturer at Parsons School of Design and Fordham Law School on legal and regulatory issues. Jeremy received a B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis, and a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law.
